Mon Club International, through its Hard-to-Reach (H2R) funds, provided nutrition and WASH assistance in Kala Balge and Bama Local Government Areas of Borno State. The project focused on treating malnutrition among children under two and delivering the soft components of WASH services. With support from the Borno State Primary Health Care Agency, Mon Club carried out several key activities including MUAC screening to identify children with severe acute malnutrition, treatment of malnourished children without medical complications, provision of one-on-one counselling on Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF), and hygiene promotion and sensitization across the communities.
